Another windup from Marx. Late 1940′s. [...] Remember, “Only you can prevent forest fires”. This slogan was used for many years by the National Forest Service and its representative, SMOKEY the BEAR. This toy is battery operated and was made by Masudaya Toys of Japan in the 1950′s. Nice lettering and detailing. One recently sold for a hot $747.00. Wow!! [...] Postwar plastic.Almost 6″long. No other identifiers. [...] Small 3″ toy with raising ladder. This is a friction toy ,made in Japan in the early 1950′s. [...] This is a highly collectible tin windup. About 7″ high and tall. Made in USA right after the war. Does wheelies and Gi bounces around wildly. Somewhat common,but good condition is rare. Value: $200-$275 [...] Here is a wild one. Colorful lithographed tin from Argentina. Late 1940′s . Offered at some rather huge prices. Haven’t seen a sale. [...] This smaller size tin Jeep has multiple colors , was made in Japan in the early 1950′s and is only about 3″ long. It has friction drive and black tires. [...] A made in Japan tin litho item that has no makers mark. This one is battery operated and features a lighted gun barrel. Made in the 1960′s , it’s a more modern interpretation of Jeep functionality. Value : $75-$125 [...] Another version of a Western themed vehicle. Made in Japan in the 50′s, this colorful item is friction drive with a working siren. A great find and not too common. [...] Here is a great Jeep for the collector. This one is in excellent shape and even has the box. It is made of tin in Japan and dates to the 1950′s. This Jeep measures a whopping 15″ in length. What a toy! [...] |
