Coming in March; a 30 photo spread of the Willys South American Convention in 1955, 1957 and 1959, when it was hosted by the newly installed regime of the Revolutionary party led by Fidel Castro. Includes photos of a warehouse full of parts, classes servicing the CJ5 and Castro and party members at the seminars and in the field. There are field tests of the CJ5 climbing hills. Many photos contain the Willys Overland executives who attended. There are many “social shots” of the sales force drinking and eating. This unique bit of History is not well known and I believe very few images of this time and location are in existence.
